My name is Lou. I’m a full time user interface designer and content creator on instagram and youtube. I’m also a full time aquascape artist, betta enthusiast and a cat mom. I’ve been keeping fish since I was little. But it was around 10 years ago when I was truly bitten by the bug. With a small budget, a bit of faith and plenty of research, I started my aquascaping journey. At the beginning, there were many disastrous events but I discovered the work of Takashi Amano. In his view, the philosophy behind a nature aquarium is to create a complete ecosystem.

The magical process of creation inspired me to carry on designing. My core principles are simplicity and easy maintenance. The often unpredictable results is exciting, and satisfaction in seeing the success of a tank give me countless hours of enjoyment and aesthetic in my home.
